Selection of the Thin Film Switch

1. Thin film switch silver paste is an important material

The selection of silver paste for thin film switch as the silver paste for conductive graphic printing of thin film switch is an important material to ensure the function and service life of thin film switch. Understanding the properties of conductive silver paste before use, starting from the actual needs of the product, and choosing the silver paste correctly is the first condition to ensure product quality and reduce costs. The manufacturer of thin film switch is the unit of use of silver paste materials. From a general point of view, silver paste materials are derived from commercially available products, and we can understand the basic situation of the product through some parameter descriptions marked on the product.

2. Choices of the thin film switch silver paste

(1) Silver content, in silver paste materials, silver content is one of the important data. In a sense, the amount of silver in the thin film switch is the basic condition that determines the conductivity of the silver paste. The products of various thin film switch manufacturers have different silver content due to the different focus on comprehensive indicators. Generally, the silver content is about 65% (weight ratio).

(2) The solid content, the amount of solid content in the thin film membrane switch board, is of little importance to the user. What's more, the solid content is the sum of various solid substances, and it does not mean the silver content alone. The labeling of the solid content does not have much practical meaning, and it may confuse the concept.

(3) Resistance value, resistance value is an important data indicating the performance of conductive ink. The resistance value of the thin film switch conductive paste usually has two expression methods: volume resistance and surface resistance. Volume resistance is the resistance of 1 cubic centimeter of dielectric to leakage current, in ohm cm; Surface resistance is also called surface specific resistance or surface resistivity. It is defined as the resistance per square area of the medium surface to the surface leakage current between the opposite sides of the square, and the unit is ohm.
